Avery Stray

Avery Stray (The Elaborate Ruse Co-Director/Co-Founder) is a senior at Pace majoring in Directing originating from Northern California. Her directing explores sisterhood through the lens of a young millennial feminist. She deconstructs both classical and contemporary texts to expose the complexities of human relationships and uses stylized video and projections to create a juxtaposed theatrical world that is both visually savage and romantic.
